Heat the olive oil in a large pan fry over medium high heat. Add dried chickpeas and cook for almost 25 minutes, mixing frequently until they are golden and crispy.

Meanwhile combine smoked paprika with dried basil and salt in a bowl and set aside.

Once the chickpeas are ready, remove the pan from the heat and drain them on paper towels, allowing to cool down a bit.

Add crispy pan fried chickpeas to the mix bowl and toss to coat them with spices. Serve.
