So what is a consultant anyway? It’s defined as a professional who provides expert advice in a particular area. I’m a professional blogger, so I will provide you expert blogging advice. With me as your blog consultant, you’ll have access to my deep level of blogging expertise, and together we’ll tailor a blog plan just for you and your blogging needs. My qualifications:

I’ve been blogging on Make and Takes for 11+ years, sharing all sorts of creative content for parents, kids, foodies, and makers. I have been a speaker at several blogging and creative conferences sharing my expertise on blogging from time management, content strategy, and social media marketing. I’ve considered myself a professional blogger since day one of my blog back in February of 2007, as this has been my main source of income for these last 11 years. Whew, where has the time gone, kinda crazy to think about, but it’s been incredible riding the blogging wave. And here we are in 2018 and blogging is still hot to trot. So even if you think you’ve missed the boat, you haven’t. Blogs are here to stay, they aren’t going anywhere. You’re time is NOW.

Plus I’m a bit of a blogging superhero just like Elastigirl. She can stretch and mold to go and do what she needs to do, and she’s a total bad ass!

• Beginner – Need help with the very first steps? I’ll get you through it all, from choosing a name, acquiring the website url, and going live! But first, get a taste of where to begin with this article all about how you can start a blog all on your own NOW.
• Novice – Maybe you’ve been doing this a while, but not sure if you’re doing the best you can. I’ll be there to give you a boost, help give you with tips and tricks to take your blog to the next level. We’ll work on content ideas, image support, scheduling, and that weirdo acronym SEO. What is that anyway?!
• Advanced – Oh ya, let’s do this, I love a challenge. If you’re at the height of what you think you can become, I’ll help take you even further. We’ll make sure you’re doing EVERYTHING you can to up your blogging game. Get seen and be awesome.
• Content editing – Want help with editing content – the set up, the meat, and the follow through? I’ll help you edit your content to drive the most eyeballs to your blog. I promise, after a few of these sessions, you’ll be ready to edit all on your own.
• Social Media – Yep, I’ve been with the social media platforms since their formation. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest at my specialties. We can work on how social media can help drive traffic to your blog, offer extra brand awareness, and provide an additional level of creative fun to your blog. We’ll dive into the how, why, what of it all, getting you up to speed on how social media can work for you and your blog.
• Advertising advice – I’ll give you the run down of how advertising works with your blog. I’ll share how to get set up, the different ways a blog can make money, and how you (or we) can do it. Then you’ll be off and running to start making money with your amazing blog!

Pricing:

I charge $50 an hour, with a 3 hour minimum for new clients. That’s it. Easy peasy. I take all forms of payment, it’s a breeze.
