Mother’s Day is one of my favorite Sunday’s of the year. There’s nothing like seeing the cute things my children have been secretly working on at school. I think that same feeling goes for mothers with grown children, wouldn’t you agree? My mom still likes to see the things I’ve made for her!
This year I decided to wrap my mom’s gift using an old photograph of her when she was a child. It’s one of my favorites and I know it’s going to make her smile. For this project you could also use a photo of you and mom from your childhood, one of your children or even a shot from a favorite family vacation.
Supplies for Mother’s Day Gift Wrap:
- paper wrapping – I used a simple kraft paper gift wrap I found at Target
- photograph
- self adhesive photo corners
To get started you’ll need to wrap mom’s gift.
Simply attach the photo corners to your chosen photograph and adhere the corners to your gift. Simple as that.
I have a feeling your mom’s going to love the gift wrap as much as the gift!
Happy Mother’s Day to you!
Hi Danyelle! Thank you for sharing this gift wrap idea for Mother’s Day! Can I use a photocopy of my mom’s old photograph from her childhood? She will not allow anyone to touch her photo album that contains her childhood memories. But your gift wrap idea is creative!
