So no more excuses my crafty friends! You don’t want to let this crafty idea melt away. “Let it snow” and make this snowman craft with your child today!
Supplies for Footprint Snowman Keepsake:
- Large Canvas
- Blue Paint
- White Paint
- Black Paint
- Orange Paint
- Red Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Scrapbook Stickers
- Paper Plate
- Baby Wipes
Directions:
First you will want to paint your canvas completely blue. This will allow the white paint to really shine through for the snowman. Set aside to let it dry completely.
Next have your child pick a foot and paint it completely white. Press it down in the center of the canvas.
To give your Footprint Snowman Keepsake Canvas life – grab your remaining paint and have children paint on some fun snowman features. Think hat, scarf, buttons, carrot nose etc.
Then to finish off the canvas and really pull it all together, add “Let it Snow” in scrapbook stickers around the snowman design.
For added festive flair we also added a fun decorative dot pattern around the edge of the piece, by dipping the end of our paint brush in paint, then on our canvas.
Once you are done and have the look you like, let it all dry completely before displaying or gifting away! Don’t forget to add your child’s name and age on the back so you will remember forever when it was made!
