My in-laws give great neighbor gifts for the holidays. Last year they gave these towel wrapped bottles, spending under $5 each (depending on your bubbly). It’s a quick and cheap way to look fancy and give a great gift.
Supplies for Towel Wrapped Bottle:
- bottle of bubbly – wine, champagne, sparkling cider
- flour sack towel or tea towel – purchased at the Dollar Store
- ribbon
Place your bottle in the center of the towel. Wrap each side of the towel up the bottle. Tie it all off with ribbon. That’s it! Super easy.

Ok really I was going to make everyone chocolates. I made one batch and almost died. THIS is what I am going to do. Really. So easy, not overdone and nice. PERFECT IDEA!

I purchased plain Christmas dishtowels after Christmas last year, and put cute Christmas appliques on them and will be giving them with small bottles of dish soap with a tag “We wash you a Merry Christmas!”

I am making muffins to give as a gift. I saved over some plastic bakery containers , well-washed, and will be decorating the outside with festive paper. I got a roll of parchment paper to line the inside, and of course to use in baking.
