WEEK OF TREATS – DAY 1
This week I’ll be posting yummy treats to make during the Holiday Season. They’re a great “make and take” for family and friends or to keep for your own sweet tooth. So take notes, throw the diet out the window like me and enjoy this Holiday Week of Treats.

Making Chocolate Fudge from scratch can be hard work. As well as building good arm muscles, it takes a lot of patience. You’ve got to get your ingredients calculated right, watch the thermometer with a very close eye, and make sure you DON’T scrape the sides of the pot.
Even though it may sound fussy, it’s soooo worth it. I’m planning to make some this week. Check out how my Mom and I made Chocolate Fudge in last year’s post – Do you like nuts in your fudge?
mmmmm, looks delish! No nuts for me!! Fudge without nuts, I personally think is better! I’m going to try this recipe from the other post! Thanks a lot for sharing
I completely agree. We LOVE making fudge over the holidays too. It’s totally worth the time. My mom-in-law puts cherries in hers and wow – hold me back! ;)
So this is my husband’s fav cmas treat and I have NEVER made it for him! I am so mean, I will try to follow this and make it :)
send some my way??? no nuts?? :)
Love the mixed nut feelings. I gotta go “nude”, as Azucar would say!
Either you put walnuts and marshmallows into it, or it goes plain. There are no in betweens: Rocky Road or Nude.
Pecans – it’s gotta have pecans or at least walnuts – and drizzle caramel on top – YUM!
Gotta have the nuts! It helps break up the chocolate!!
Nuts for sure. Love the crunchy with the creamy. MmMmMmmmm.
Mmmmm that looks delish!! I prefer without nuts. I think nut take up too much space….gotta have ALL chocolate!!! :)
Yum! Thanks for the recipe. And, no, I make it without nuts. Our bunch also likes butterscotch fudge made with the butterscotch chips.
