Creamy Mandarin Orange Popsicles

There is nothing more refreshing on a hot day than homemade sweet treats. Have you tried our homemade fudge pops, ice cream cake cupcakes, or cookie ice cream sandwiches? They are all delicious.  Below, we are combining our love of ice cream with fresh fruit to make mandarin orange popsicles.

Simply squeeze mandarins and pour the juice into popsicle molds for refreshing after-school or weekend treats for the kids. Alternatively, follow our recipe below that combines two of our favorite summertime treats, ice cream and popsicles.

You can also make this recipe using regular oranges. It will be just as delicious, like a Dreamcicle.

What you need:

  • Vanilla ice cream – we prefer extra creamy
  • Mandarin oranges
  • Popsicle molds

Soften the ice cream before using.

Follow the directions in the recipe card below to create the lovely layered appearance of the popsicles.

Freeze the popsicles until completely set. I prefer to leave them overnight, but if you make them first thing in the morning, they will be ready by the time the kids get home from school or are done playing outside for the day.
