It’s time for another episode of Make and Takes Reading Corner for the month of November. Be sure to pick these up at the library and keep them at the kids table while the turkey dinner is cookin’!
Watch our video to see what are 4 of our favorite stories to read for Thanksgiving:

A couple of my favorite Thanksgiving books that I love to share with my students are A Turkey for Thanksgiving by Eve Bunting is about a turkey who mistakenly thinks he is on the menu. A great factual over view is Thanksgiving Day by Gail Gibbons. But my favorite is Thank You Sarah Josepha Hale! The Woman Who Saved Thanksgiving by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is a wonderful way to teach about perseverance and overcoming others opinions and strong women.
Great suggestions. I love everything by Gail Gibbons!!
I keep getting a message that this video is private. Am I doing something wrong?
Sorry Erin! I hadn’t changed the back end settings. It’s all good to go!
