Today I want to share with you another favorite chocolate chip recipe, after making these mint chocolate chip cookies
These choc chip cookies are a little crisp around the edges and soft and chewy towards the center. Like any perfect homemade cookie should be. They are everything you would expect and much more!

Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients
To bake these choice chip cookies you’ll only need these ingredients (I guess most of them are already in your pantry)
- flour
- baking soda
- butter
- sugar
- eggs
- chocolate chips
How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies
The recipe is simple and it is probably my all time favorite when it comes to baking chocolate chip cookies. Preparation takes only 10 minutes and once you oven is ready, you bake for around 15 minutes and that’s it!
You can make a bigger batch and freeze half of the cookie dough :) Oh yes, you can definitely freeze cookie dough! Just form dough into balls and freeze them in a ziplock bag until you are ready to bake.
Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1&1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 11oz milk chocolate chips
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 350F and prepare two cookie sheets, lining baking paper.
- In a medium bowl, add dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder and a pinch of salt and set aside.
- Using an electric mixer, cream the butter (at room temperature) and sugars together until light and fluffy, for about 5 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla essence and beat until combined. Slowly add the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in milk choc chips gently.
- Using a scoop or a spoon, form cookie dough balls
- Place the dough balls on the cookie sheets spaced 2 to 3 inches apart. Bake the cookies until the edges are golden but the centers are soft for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on baking sheet before serving them.
