Whether you are planning a party, friends get together afternoon or a Mexican fiesta, serving up a DIY Taco Bar is the perfect solution.
When it comes to parties are you are the host, it is so much easier to not have to plate and serve dishes after dishes. Having a taco bar (everyone loves a taco, right?!) takes just one effort in setting up everything (ingredients & toppings) and then you can just enjoy the party.
How to Make a DIY Taco Bar
(Quick & Budget Friendly)
The best way is to keep the DIY taco bar simple, really quick to get it ready and budget friendly too.
All you’ll have to decide on is what type of meat you are going to serve at your taco buffet.
You can use only 1 type of meat, preferably taco seasoned ground beef, as is a crowd pleaser or you can add some pulled chicken too if you’re going for 2 different types of meat.
Ingredients for DIY Taco Bar
- Taco Meat (taco seasoned ground beef, pulled chicken, etc)
- Soft/ Hard shell tortillas (I prefer soft shell bowl tortillas)
- Diced Tomatoes

- Salsa
- Cheese
- Jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- Beans
- Thinly sliced lettuce
And some optional taco ingredients:
