Supplies:
- Old CD
- School Glue
- Paint Brush
- Various Colored Tissue Paper {we used red, pink & white}
- Tan/Red Cardstock
- Scissors
- optional – glitter, sequins etc.
Directions:
First have your child cut their tissue paper into small squares.
Now have your child paint a thick layer of glue all over the CD, really making sure you get every inch covered {it doesn’t matter which side of the CD you choose to cover with glue}
Next have your child place the tissue paper squares on top of the glue, until the CD {aka – ice cream} is completely covered.
To finish off the Recycled CD Ice Cream Kid Craft – cut a large triangle out of the tan cardstock {the ice cream cone} and a small circle from the red cardstock {the cherry} Now glue those pieces on to the finished CD, along with any other embellishments you might see fit {add glitter and/or sequins for the sprinkles!} Then display proudly!
