Supplies:
- Potato
- Knife
- Paper Plate
- Paint Brushes
- White/Pink/Black Craft Paint
- Cardstock {preferably something dark so the white will really stand out}
- Scissors
- Scrapbook Stickers
- Glue Stick
Directions:
First cut your potato in half. Keep one half as it and cut the other half, in half again.
Now squirt your white paint on the paper plate.
Have children dip the larger potato half into the white paint {smear it around} then stamp it in the center of a single sheet of cardstock. Set that one down. Now grab one smaller potato piece, smear it in the white paint and then stamp it twice near the top of the first potato stamp, as bunny ears.
Now grab your pink and black paint. Have children give the “bunny” life by drawing on some facial features like a cute pink button nose and whiskers. Set aside to let it all dry completely. Repeat for each card.
To finish off the Potato Stamped Bunny Cards, have children add “Some — Loves You” around the potato stamped bunny design. Then trim out your design with scissors and attach to a card front for easy gifting & mailing!
